Pharmacometrics 2015

Pharmacometrics involves the application of mathematical and statistical tools to research in clinical pharmacology, and promises to improve the ability to conduct, access, verify and advocate for using the best science to develop locally relevant solutions to healthcare problems all over the world.


Course description

The online Pharmacometrics course will be delivered over 10 weeks through a combination of live and asynchronous tutorials, discussion forums and directed reading. Course participants will be evaluated through engagement in the online program and submission of continuous assessments. The course starts on 5 Otober 2015.

Application process

• Fill in the electronic application that can be found here:
• Print the application confirmation (See "Application Confirmation" pdf document above) and have your employer sign it. Or, if you are a university student please ask your Head of Department or the authorized signatory at your university to sign it. 

Print the power of attorney document (See "Power of Attorney" word document above) and have your employer or authorized member of your University's administration sign it. 
• Prepare a letter of motivation outlining how your participation will benefit healthcare in your local environment (maximum 450 words).
• Prepare a detailed CV including your academic qualifications. 
• Provide a copy of your personal identification: a copy of your passport, national identity card or driver's licence. 
• Send the signed application confirmation, signed power of attorney, letter of motivation, CV and copy of personal identification by fax, email or post to Karolinska Institutet, see contact details below.

Deadline for application is 26 August 2015.

Please note that all supporting documents must have arrived to Karolinska Institutet by 26 August 2015. Applications and supporting documents will not be accepted after this date.
